Chorleywood Chamber Choir

About the Choir
We are an ambitious, non-auditioned 20-voice ensemble for adult singers (18+) who
love a rewarding musical challenge. Our eclectic repertoire ranges from complex a
capella and classical chamber pieces to lively swing and jazz and everything in
between.

What makes us different?
As a proud part of Chorleywood Music, our members enjoy the rare flexibility to perform
both intimate, standalone performances and larger scale works alongside the
Chorleywood Music Orchestra and ensembles.

Why sing with us?

• The Perfect Size: We are small enough to master intricate close harmonies, yet large enough to create a rich, powerful, and captivating sound.
• Deep Connections: We connect deeply to the music we perform, to one another as a close-knit ensemble, and to our local community.
• Musical Growth: We thrive on rich SATB harmonies and expanding vocal technique whilst having fun and making high-quality music together.

“Singing with the Chorleywood Chamber Choir is joyous, challenging, rewarding and fun, in equal measure. The range of music is wide and exciting. Sally, our musical director, takes us on a journey with each piece of music. She enriches our musical knowledge, improves our singing skills, whilst ensuring we take both pleasure and pride in our performance. Joining this choir, you are welcomed into a community of like-minded people who enjoy making music together”, NR.
