Established March 2026, the Chorleywood Chamber Choir sings a wide range of music, including:
- Classical, secular and sacred
- Jazz & Swing
- Choruses from the West End & Silver Screen
- Favourites from light opera and G&S
- Traditional British songs
Our emphasis is on fun, enjoyment, quality, musical breadth and local participation. We will be accompanied by instrumentalists from our Chorleywood Music community, including members of our orchestra, jazz band, chamber groups and various music ensembles.
As with any keen choir, we perform. In general, this will be in our own locality, but also further afield by invitation. Currently in the planning are to sing at the Chorleywood Music annual summer party on 26th July and then in late November 2026.
Rehearsals are typically from 8-10pm, currently on Thursday evenings, with a break in the middle for tea/coffee, homemade cakes and socializing.
